Job Summary

Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council is seeking a skilled Category Executive to join its Commissioning Team. This is a temporary full-time position for maternity cover, but it may also be suitable for a trainee category executive who is not yet CIPS qualified.

The successful candidate will have experience of procurement regulations, policies, and contract procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead, direct, and coordinate sourcing activities to achieve best value
  • To develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers
  • To manage contracts and suppliers to ensure compliance with regulations
