Sous Chef Opportunity at Queen Victoria

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Queen Victoria in Epping. As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional food quality and exceeding guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that meet company standards and exceed guest expectations
  • Manage food stock control, including ordering, deliveries, and stock taking
  • Support the Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen and deputise in their absence
  • Train and develop the kitchen team to ensure they reach their potential
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in a busy kitchen environment
  • Ability to develop and implement menus that meet company standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
