Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Engineer to join our team in Milton Keynes or Central London. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the development of our company.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Developing project engineering documents such as Material Selection Diagrams, Material Selection reports, Paint and lining specifications, insulation specifications, welding specifications.
    • Undertaking materials and corrosion-related project activities, applying your expertise to achieve project objectives.
    • Preparation of Engineering studies, taking responsibility for their successful execution.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of a degree in Materials Engineering with professional status (or working towards).
  • Strong understanding of material types, materials selection, corrosion assessment, and materials performance assessment.
  • Understanding of paint and lining systems, insulation selection, and welding of pressure components.
  • Capability to work independently in a team environment and manage multiple project responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to constant improvement in engineering activities across diverse geographic, technical, and cultural contexts.
  • Familiarity with the application and maintenance of engineering processes, systems, and tools (software).
  • Proficiency in MS Office software.
  • Full command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum
