Responsibilities- Learn and provide Lush HairLab services, including consultation, product choices, hair washing, cutting, and styling.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalized recommendations.
- Educate clients on how to achieve the style and effect at home.
- Contribute to a supportive working environment through effective communication and teamwork.
- Maintain high standards of personal and workspace presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene.
- Assist with retail sales and provide 5-star consultations with clients and customers.
- Support shops and attend events to promote new hair care product or service launches.
- Use specialist skills and knowledge to support the Lush PR team.
- Showcase a can-do attitude and attention to detail.
- Share Lush's buying stories, ethics, and product knowledge throughout the customer journey.
- Be confident and decisive in ensuring clients feel safe and in expert hands.
- Be motivated, trustworthy, and driven.
- Be open-minded to our new approach to hairdressing.
- Be accepting of being an equal in the salon.
- Be open to adopting new ways of describing hair using positive language.
- Minimum SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in running a column or equivalent.
- Established client base local to Brighton is beneficial but not essential.
- Up-to-date skills and techniques in all areas of hair cutting and styling.
- Exceptional customer service skills, including careful communication and consultations.
- Organized and punctual approach to salon life.
- Professional and client-focused attitude.
- Open-minded approach to receiving further training in the Lush HairLab way.
- Skills and experience in educating in your specialist field to the team is beneficial but not essential.
