**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commissioning Electrical Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As part of our commissioning electrical team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of complex systems on board ships.

**About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for leading Test and Commissioning activities of on-board electrical systems, working closely with stakeholders to ensure activities are undertaken in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Instruct and mentor less experienced members of the team within your knowledge and competency.
  • Ability to research, review, and interrogate technical design documentation and drawings, subsequently creating test documentation.
  • You will also be responsible for delivering assigned activities in line with company policy, procedures, and legislation.

Benefits:

This role comes with a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus benefits including a pension scheme, annual leave incentive, and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. What We're Looking For:

  • HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical control and instrumentation of system operations, ideally hydraulic, pressurised air, and gas, domestic, and chilled water.
  • Experience in commissioning of complex systems power plants, motors, and high voltage systems.
  • Aware of Nuclear Site/Authorisation Conditions and knowledge of safety controls and procedures in a high-risk environment.
