Job Description

Stratospherec Limited is seeking a highly skilled Technical Author to join our team in West Sussex. As a Technical Author, you will be responsible for producing high-quality documentation for our software and hardware products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop user manuals, workflow guides, and other documentation to increase user knowledge and minimize support team reliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive documentation for internal and external users.
  • Support knowledge management and provide guidance on delivering information in a clear and consistent manner.
  • Utilize creative skills to develop various documentation mediums, including manuals, online videos, photographs, drawings, diagrams, and charts.
  • Integrate into our team and develop ideas for projects that enhance our product portfolio understanding.
  • Travel to customer sites in the UK and abroad for tasks such as end-user training and sales and demo support.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Ability to simplify texts/projects/documents for the targeted audience.
  • Excellent written skills in English.
  • Experience with software languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Proven experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Broad web technology skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them understandable in text, videos, and pictures.
