About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Test Engineer to join our Chippenham-based agile product development team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Control Systems products.

Job Description

As an Automation QA Test Engineer, you'll be responsible for covering all aspects of testing our Control Systems products, including component, software, and system-level testing. You'll develop comprehensive test plans, derive tests from requirements, and work closely with developers to analyze test logs and identify issues.

You'll also be responsible for developing automation frameworks, creating data to support testing, and writing reports. Your experience in performance testing, C#, Gherkin, and Unit testing will be invaluable in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A graduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in C#, Gherkin, and Unit testing
  • Experience of unit testing, automation testing, system integration testing, system testing, and reporting
  • Experience of performance testing and testing multiple interfaced applications
  • Good knowledge of configuration management and control practices
