About the Role

Systematix is currently seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of organizational computer systems and desktops.

About the Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and network connectivity issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Perform system upgrades, including the installation of new hardware and software, to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Coordinate requirements for lab/logistic machines to support business operations.
  • Implement CIS Hardening, Quest software, Cofense email security, and DPP to maintain a secure and compliant IT environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent follow-up and organizational abilities. A diploma or degree in Computer Science is preferred.
