**Job Summary**
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will be working as part of a close-knit team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service possible.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide advice, information, and service to our customers to the highest possible standard.
- Contribute to creating a safe and attractive retail station environment.
- Participate in the safe running of trains and a safe station environment by following procedures.
- Promote relevant marketing literature and useful information to our customers.
**Working Arrangements**
This role covers 24-hour operation, so it's essential that you live in the local area and have reliable transport to get to and from work. You may be required to work varying shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
**Essential Skills and Qualifications**
- A proactive approach to customer service with passion and ability to support the team.
- Exceptional levels of customer service - you will be a role model for others to follow.
- Demonstrable experience of managing customers effectively in difficult environments.
- An effective communicator who can demonstrate this through your application and assessments.
- Living in the local area to enable easy travel to work.
- Able to make decisions in a customer-focused manner and carry out instructions effectively.
