Job Title: Research Systems and Information Officer

Join Durham University's Research and Innovation Services team as a Research Systems and Information Officer. This exciting role will see you working closely with colleagues across the University to implement and develop research information management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and develop research information management systems to support the University's research community.
  • Provide training and communications to stakeholders on the use of these systems.
  • Analyse research data and develop reports to inform key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the Research and Innovation Services Directorate and faculties, departments, and professional support services.

Requirements:

  • Experience of implementing policies and procedures.
  • Strong digital competence across a range of digital devices and apps.
  • Accuracy, numeracy, and the ability to analyse and interpret complex information and data sets.
  • Committed to continuing professional development.
  • Knowledge and experience of compliance with regulatory and organisational policy and guidelines.
  • Experience of working in a research grants environment.
  • Relevant qualification in statistics, data science, or a related field.
