You will be part of a dynamic team in the audit and business services department, working on a split position that involves all aspects of audit work, from planning to completion. You will also be responsible for preparing financial statements ready for audit and supporting the wider business services department with accounting services to a mixed client base.

Client Details

This firm of chartered accountants has recently expanded its presence in the region, and we are looking to consolidate our client service through the addition of a new hire into the team. This expansion is a result of prolonged growth over the past 5 years, as we continue to win work from competitors.

Description

  • Plan and execute audit assignments, identifying key risks and assessing how to test them, reviewing budgets, and completing analytical reviews.
  • Lead smaller audits, supervise, delegate, and review the work of trainees.
  • Deliver information to clients in a timely manner, showcasing in-depth client and industry knowledge.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Monitor stock takes, manage bank letter processes, and complete AFF (Assignment Feedback Forms) where appropriate.
  • Communicate progress to management and plan for efficient completion.

Profile

You will have 5+ years of practice experience and be either ACA or ACCA qualified. Prior experience in audit is desirable but can be trained. You must be a good communicator and able to work accurately and professionally under pressure.
