As a valued member of the PETstock Retail Pty Ltd team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional pet grooming services to our customers. Your expertise will be essential in creating a positive and memorable experience for our furry friends and their owners.

A Day in the Life...
  • Provide comprehensive grooming services, including bathing, drying, nail clipping, brushing, and clipping, to a diverse range of breeds.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and their pets, ensuring a personalized and enjoyable experience.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to coordinate the grooming salon and client bookings.
  • Assist the shop floor team as needed, contributing to a seamless customer experience.
  • Manage stock levels and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager and team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Proactively support local marketing initiatives and recruitment referral programs.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring a culture of safety within the team.
What We Need...
  • Experience in professional dog grooming.
  • Qualification in Grooming, preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to create and embed strong safety practices across the salon and store.
  • Good knowledge of specific breed clips.
  • Physical fitness, as you may be required to lift heavy animals.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling and working with live animals.
  • Ability to maintain breed clip and brand/product knowledge.
  • Advanced understanding of zoonotic and skin diseases and how to identify them.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work conditions.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Commitment to representing the interests of PETstock in areas related to the business, branding, and animal care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working and customer relationships.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
