Job Title: HGV Night Driver

The Best Connection is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join their team in Cramlington. As a night shift driver, you will be responsible for delivering paper-based products across the Northeast region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver paper-based products to customers across the Northeast region
  • Some loads may require forklift assistance, while others may involve handballing
  • Experience is desired, as this role requires efficient and accurate delivery to customers at set times
  • Represent The Best Connection and the client in a professional and friendly manner
Requirements:
  • Hold a clean Class 2 UK driving license
  • Have at least one year of experience as a commercial driver in a Class 2 vehicle
  • Present a smart appearance and positive attitude, as this role is customer-facing
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working Hours and Pay:
  • Shift start time: 18:00pm
  • Monday to Friday
  • Minimum 8 hours per shift
  • Hourly rate: £15.50 for the first 8 hours, £23.25 thereafter
