Product Launch Specialist

LSR is partnering with a leading manufacturer of postural support products to introduce new products to the market. As a Product Launch Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful introduction of new products, coordinating with R&D, Operations, and Procurement departments to achieve cost-effectiveness and timely launches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new product launch plans
  • Identify and implement processes for new products, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards
  • Plan and oversee new manufacturing processes, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing risks
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Ensure product and process quality, identifying and resolving production bottlenecks
  • Develop project timelines and costings for production, assessing tooling requirements and ordering

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a similar role, with a background in process engineering
  • Relevant qualifications, either apprentice-trained or to degree level
  • Knowledge or experience working with medical devices, assistive furniture, or postural support products, as well as medical device regulations
  • Production process improvement experience, with a focus on efficiency, material utilization, time, cost, quality, and compliance
