Position Summary

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Adjunct Faculty member to teach Psychology courses at Brightpoint Community College. The ideal candidate will possess a master's degree in the discipline or a related field with 18 graduate semester hours of coursework in Psychology. Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Adjunct Faculty member will provide online or traditional (on-campus) delivery instruction on either the Chester or Midlothian campus of the college. Courses offered in the discipline include Developmental Psychology, Principles of Psychology, Psychology of Death and Dying, Statistics for Behavioral Science, and Theories of Personality. The successful candidate will be able to use instructional technologies and possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

Requirements

The minimum qualifications for this position include a master's degree in the discipline or a related field with 18 graduate semester hours of coursework in Psychology.
