Job Opportunity:

CK Group, a leading clinical development services business, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Scientist - Virology Assay Development to join their team in London. The successful candidate will have a strong background in virology and microbiology, with experience in assay development and validation in an industry environment.

About the Role:

This is a laboratory-based position, where you will provide scientific expertise in the development and validation of virology, microbiology, and immunology assays. You will also be responsible for conducting study plans, report reviews, and data analysis, as well as supporting the delivery of clients' R&D projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and review study protocols
* Provide training and mentoring of junior staff
* Attend conferences, client meetings, and other relevant events

Requirements:

* PhD qualified in a relevant scientific subject
* Experience in assay development and validation in an industry environment
* Strong understanding of working in a regulated environment (GCP, GMP, GLP, ISO)
