Dunbar Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Class Teacher to work with KS3 students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As part of an Ofsted Outstanding provision, you will be delivering personalized education to young people facing challenges that affect their ability to engage in conventional schooling. You will work with a collaborative team committed to improving the lives of students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across a range of subjects to KS3 students with SEMH needs.
• Create and monitor individualized learning plans that support both academic and emotional development.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students, families, and external professionals.
• Implement effective strategies for managing challenging behavior in a calm and supportive manner.
• Use data to track student progress and inform teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to provide comprehensive support to students.
