Lloyd Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining accounting records and financial systems, ensuring accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts for the management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Sage Line 50 software to maintain month-end reconciliations, prepare and submit VAT returns, extract standard management reports, and manage the cash book, purchase ledger, sales ledger, and journals.
  • Reconcile monthly credit card statements and receipts, allocating individual payments on SAGE.
  • Provide SAGE project reports to individual managers as required.
  • Ensure cash income is deposited, and bank statements are reconciled on a weekly basis.
  • Arrange for weekly banking of cash income and reconciling petty cash.
  • Extract data from online booking systems.
  • Ensure transactions are processed only after being coded and authorized correctly, in line with organizational financial procedures, and recorded with both nominal and department codes.
  • Arrange for sufficient cash to be transferred to and from bank accounts to meet day-to-day transactions in conjunction with line managers.
