About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in the FMCG sector. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of plant equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake the commissioning and installation of new plant equipment across the factory.
  • Follow routine preventative and PPM schedules.
  • React to any faults upon machinery, rectifying faults and enabling this is being documented to prevent any occurring issues moving forward.
  • Follow on-site procedures to ensure the smooth running of plant equipment and machinery.
  • All documentation to be completed as required.
  • The ability to build relationships with internal departments and teams. Liaise with external contractors whilst on site.
Requirements
  • HNC / HND / ONC Maintenance Qualification (Time Served)
  • Experience working in a high-demanding manufacturing industry, ideally within the FMCG sector or some high-pressured environment.
  • Strong fault diagnostics and fault finding upon a range of machinery.
  • Mechanical understanding; pneumatics, hydraulics, and control systems.
  • The ability to work at heights would be an advantage.
