Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning and installation of new plant equipment, following routine preventative and PPM schedules, and reacting to any faults on machinery.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake the commissioning and installation of new plant equipment across the factory
  2. Follow routine preventative and PPM schedules
  3. React to any faults on machinery, rectifying faults and documenting to prevent future issues
  4. Follow on-site procedures to ensure the smooth running of plant equipment and machinery
  5. Complete all required documentation
  6. Build relationships with internal departments and teams; liaise with external contractors while on site

Requirements:

  1. HNC / HND / ONC Maintenance Qualification (Time Served)
  2. Experience in a high-demand manufacturing industry, ideally within the FMCG sector or a high-pressure environment
  3. Strong fault diagnostics and fault finding on a range of machinery
  4. Mechanical understanding; pneumatics, hydraulics, and control systems
  5. The ability to work at heights would be an advantage
