Creative Arts Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Arts Therapist to join our team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. As a Creative Arts Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our students with neurodiverse needs.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver High-Quality Therapeutic Services: Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students with neurodiverse needs, using a range of creative arts therapies, including art, music, and drama.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with our Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for our students.
- Design and Deliver Training Programs: Develop and deliver training sessions for our teaching staff on best practices for supporting students with neurodiverse needs.
- Conduct Assessments and Evaluations: Assess the needs of our students and evaluate the effectiveness of our therapeutic services.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure that all student records are up-to-date and accurate, in line with our organization's policies and procedures.
- Postgraduate Qualification: Hold a recognized postgraduate qualification in Art Therapy, Music Therapy, or Drama Therapy, and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience and Expertise: Have significant experience working as a Creative Arts Therapist, with a strong understanding of neurodiverse needs and the impact of trauma on mental health.
- Leadership and Training Skills: Be able to design and deliver training programs for our teaching staff, and have the confidence to lead and supervise other therapists.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
