Creative Arts Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Arts Therapist to join our team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. As a Creative Arts Therapist, you will work with a small caseload of learners with neurodiverse needs, providing individual and group therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities- Therapeutic Work: Develop and implement individual and group therapy plans, using a neurodiverse affirming and trauma-informed approach.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Speech and Language Therapists, other Creative Arts Therapists, and education colleagues to provide comprehensive support to learners.
- Training and Mentoring: Design and deliver training sessions to education colleagues on best practice and effective ways to support learners with neurodiverse needs.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks related to learner support.
- Team Meetings: Attend regular team meetings to discuss learner progress and share best practices.
- Qualifications: Recognized Post Graduate qualification in Art Therapy, Music Therapy, or Drama Therapy, with HCPC Registration.
- Experience: Significant experience working as a Creative Arts Therapist, with a strong track record of delivering effective therapy sessions.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with learners, colleagues, and families.
- IT Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft packages, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Driving License: Full driving license, with the ability to travel to other sites as required.
