Job Title: Registered Manager - Children's Homes

Leaders in Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Mid-Long Term Children's Homes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for vulnerable children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a Children's Home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for residents.
  • Lead and develop a motivated team of staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee compliance with Ofsted requirements and safeguarding policies, ensuring the well-being and protection of children in our care.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies and internal staff to deliver integrated and individualized interventions, promoting the best outcomes for children and their families.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the efficient use of resources to achieve our goals.
  • Ensure the health and educational needs of young people are met, working closely with healthcare professionals and educational institutions.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive annual salary of £55,783 - £59,010.

Requirements:
  • A Level 5 residential leadership and management qualification, demonstrating your expertise in childcare legislation and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of childcare legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practice in our services.
  • Experience in managing residential children's homes at a managerial level, with a proven track record of success.
  • Budget management experience, ensuring the efficient use of resources to achieve our goals.
  • Commitment to equality and diversity in service delivery, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills, inspiring and motivating your team to achieve excellence.
  • Registration with SW England, ensuring you are up-to-date with the latest childcare legislation and regulations.
