Orthopaedics - Full Time Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to take on the role of Band 7 Team Lead for the Orthopaedic Therapy Team. The team is based across two sites, Hinchingbrooke Hospital and Peterborough City Hospital, and consists of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Band 3/4 Therapy Assistants.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operationally managing the team, overseeing the delivery of human resource key quality performance indicators, and deputising for the Orthopaedic Therapy Service Lead as required.

In addition to managerial responsibilities, the post holder will work using an enhanced level of clinical practice, applying specialist knowledge and skills in the field of orthopaedics. They will assess and treat a specialist complex caseload of patients across both elective and trauma services.

The post holder will contribute to service development, audit, and research to deliver on best practice evidence-based care in line with trust and national priorities in collaboration with the Orthopaedic Therapy Service Lead and Highly Specialist Therapists.
