Theatre Logistics Support Role
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Theatre Logistics Support. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our theatre logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Management: You will be responsible for receiving and distributing stock, goods, and equipment to the appropriate areas within the theatres, recovery, logistics, and surrounding departments.
- Inventory Control: You will support the completion of consumable stock takes in the storeroom and other associated store areas, and advise on any stock shortages or stock outs.
- Housekeeping: You will maintain a high level of housekeeping and tidying of all areas assigned to the role, including the storeroom, overflow rooms, and recovery storeroom.
- Waste Management: You will empty rubbish within storage cages and move them to designated disposal areas, and return empty cages to the external stores.
- Communication: You will liaise and communicate with external stores around the delivery and receiving of orders in a timely manner to avoid disruption to the department.
