Theatre Logistics Support Role

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a high level of organization and attention to detail. As a Theatre Logistics Support, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and placing orders to ensure that supplies are always available when needed.

You will work closely with hospital staff, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of supplies. This role is based in the consumables room or 'stores' room, close to the operating theatres within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Distribute all received stock, goods, and equipment to the appropriate areas within Theatres, Recovery, Logistics, and surrounding Departments.
  • Goods receipting of soft and consumable items in accordance with stock management systems.
  • Support with the completion of consumable stock takes in the storeroom and other associated store areas and advising of any stock shortages or stock outs.
  • General housekeeping and tidying of all areas assigned to the role including storeroom, overflow rooms, Recovery Storeroom.
  • Liaise and communicate with the external stores around the delivery and receiving of orders in a timely manner to avoid disruption to the department.
About You:

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. You will be required to wear surgical scrubs on occasion and may be required to lift and move equipment.
