Rise to the challenge with RISE Housing and Support Services as we seek a per diem worker to join our team at Hedgerow House, one of our community residences.

We're looking for someone with a passion for the human services field, flexibility to pick up shifts, and the empathy to be a supportive presence for our residents as they work to overcome life challenges.

As a per diem counselor, you'll have the opportunity to gain experience in a growing organization that promotes from within, earn hours towards a CASAC credential, and enjoy a competitive rate of $18.50 per hour, plus a $250 bonus after 6 months of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acclimating residents to our program structure
  • Supervising daily living activities and house management to maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment
  • Modeling positive behaviors for residents
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift opportunities available
  • Interest in human services and dedication to learn
  • Ability to operate independently, think on your feet, and follow training
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Shared values of compassion, respect, dedication, and inclusion
  • Successful completion of RISE background checks and a valid driver's license

Schedule:

  • We offer a variety of shifts, including day, evening, weekend, and awake overnight hours
