Community Counselor

RISE Housing and Support Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Community Counselor.

About the Role:

• As a Community Counselor, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to residents at one of our community residences, Hedgerow House.
• You will work closely with residents to help them overcome the challenges associated with substance use and develop the skills needed to achieve their goals.
• We offer a competitive rate of $18.50 per hour, plus a $250 bonus after 6 months of employment.
• Our ideal candidate will have a passion for human services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acclimating residents to the structure of the program and supervising daily living activities.
• Modeling positive behaviors and maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
• Working collaboratively with residents to set and achieve their goals.
• Providing support and guidance to residents, as needed.
