Operations Director

Job Overview

The role of Operations Director at Brightwork Ltd involves overseeing the compliance and efficient operation of northern sites. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for driving data-led decision making, setting and meeting site budgets, and managing Profit & Loss Accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver Capital Expenditure Requirements to support business growth
* Collaborate with Production Team Leaders to discuss, review, and agree action on data-driven site performance assessment
* Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports to the Head of Operations, highlighting variations and proposed plans of action
* Promote a culture of safe working practices and quality policies & procedures throughout the organization
* Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements and implement Companywide safety recommendations proactively

Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in senior leadership roles within related operations, leading teams of 10+ people
* Previous experience dealing with third-party governing authorities
* Direct or indirect experience operating an engineering maintenance function
* Leadership and soft skills training and experience
* Financial management training and experience
* Operational knowledge and experience within a production or manufacturing sector
* Strong SHEQ Compliance skills and understanding of safe working culture in an operations environment
