Senior Structural Engineer Opportunity

LTM Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Newcastle office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across various sectors, including commercial, retail, residential, and industrial.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct structural engineering assessments and inspections of new and existing properties in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports, including dilapidation reports and due diligence structural surveys.
  • Utilize software packages such as CSC Fastrak and TEDDS to support reporting tasks.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of technical output, including drawings and reports.
  • Liaise with and lead other design team members to achieve a coordinated design solution that meets client objectives.
  • Lead small to medium refurbishment and building extension projects.
Requirements:
  • First degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is essential.
  • Varied experience in common forms of construction and building types.
  • Excellent report writing, communication, and numerical skills are required.
  • Experience with structural analysis design and analysis software is essential.
