Structural Engineer

LTM Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join their Newcastle office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across various sectors, including commercial, retail, residential, and industrial.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct structural engineering assessments and inspections of new and existing properties, including steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, including dilapidation reports and due diligence structural surveys.
- Utilize software packages such as CSC Fastrak and TEDDS to support reporting tasks and undertake analysis and design.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of technical output, including drawings and reports.
- Liaise with and lead other members of the design team to achieve a coordinated design solution that meets client objectives.
- Lead small to medium refurbishment and building extension projects.
- First degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is essential.
- Varied experience in common forms of construction and building types is required.
- Excellent report writing, communication, and numerical skills are necessary.
- Experience with structural analysis design and analysis software is essential.
