Exciting Opportunity for a Theatre Nurse

Meridian Business Support is seeking an experienced Theatre Nurse to join our team at Norwich Hospital. As a key member of our Theatre Team, you will be responsible for preparing the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery, including setting up instrumentation and equipment.
  • Run a theatre list without supervision, ensuring that all procedures are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Perform anaesthetic duties, including administering anaesthetics and monitoring patients' vital signs.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Nurse with NMC registration.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Anaesthetics.
  • Recovery experience is desirable.
  • Employed in a surgical/Theatre setting.
