Flow Chemistry Equipment Specialist

About the Position
CV-Library is seeking a skilled Laboratory Service Engineer to join our team. As a Laboratory Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of our client's proprietary flow chemistry equipment.
This position offers a unique blend of technical expertise and customer interaction, allowing you to develop your skills and build strong relationships with our clients. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of flow chemistry systems, expanding your knowledge of scientific industry practices and contributing to the success of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete training on our client's flow chemistry systems, ensuring a thorough understanding of their operation and maintenance requirements.
- Perform maintenance and upgrade services on-site, utilizing your technical expertise to optimize equipment performance.
- Discuss applications and gather information from customers' experiences, using this insight to improve our services and meet customer needs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventative maintenance and repair, addressing their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone and email, developing and maintaining technical bulletins and guides to facilitate customer understanding of our equipment.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a laboratory service or installation role.
- NVQ Level 3 or higher diploma/degree in engineering or chemical engineering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Windows, Excel, and Word, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new software applications.
Compensation
The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension enrollment after probation period and travel compensation from door to door. 25 days holiday plus UK bank holidays provide a healthy work-life balance.
