Industrial Equipment Repair Specialist

We are seeking an Industrial Equipment Repair Specialist to join our team in Ipswich, East Anglia. This role offers a competitive salary of £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits including door-to-door pay, company van, and holidays.

In this position, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance, repair, and servicing of various forklifts, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting diagnostic assessments and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in forklifts at client locations.
• Performing routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure forklifts are operating at peak efficiency.
• Executing repairs and replacements of faulty components and parts on-site.
• Collaborating closely with clients to understand and address specific forklift service requirements.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date service records.
• Offering technical assistance and guidance to clients on forklift operation and maintenance best practices.

As an Industrial Equipment Repair Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the field, working with experienced professionals and contributing to the success of our team.

Key qualifications for this role include:

• Proven experience working within the Automotive or Forklift industry in a similar role.
• Demonstrate good product knowledge gained from having experience of working on all aspects of forklift trucks, IC Engines, brake systems, hydraulics, and electrics.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field service capacity.
• A valid driver's license.
