Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Master Automotive Technician Lead to join our team at IN n OUT Autocentres. As a key member of our workshop leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our workshop, ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality completion of all tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Assign tasks and manage workflow to ensure timely and efficient completion of all work.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and manage inventory, ordering parts and supplies as needed.
- Manage and assist with customer complaints, ensuring a mutually satisfactory outcome.
- Inspect and QC completed work to ensure it meets required standards and specifications.
- Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure deadlines are met and customers are satisfied.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Advanced technical skills and knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Leadership and management skills, including mentoring and coaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
