Adult Diabetes Specialist Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Diabetes Specialist Dietitian to join our team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Nutrition and Dietetics Department, you will play a vital role in providing expert dietetic care to adult patients with diabetes and related metabolic disorders.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. As an Adult Diabetes Specialist Dietitian, you will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive dietetic assessments and interventions for adult patients with diabetes and related metabolic disorders.
- Developing and implementing individualized nutrition care plans to improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient-centered care.
- Conducting research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance dietetic practice and patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in dietetics or a related field.
- Significant experience in adult diabetes and metabolic disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
