Job Title: Care Registered Manager

At CareTech UK, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Care Registered Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of care and governance in our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the day-to-day operational management of the home, ensuring effective use of resources to provide a good quality service.
  • Supervise and support staff, ensuring they receive regular supervision and adhere to CareTech's Policy and Procedures.
  • Work closely with the Service Development Team to select and assess potential new residents, and ensure a smooth transition into the home.
  • Develop and implement dynamic support plans for service users, involving them in the process and taking into account their needs and aspirations.
  • Ensure the home provides a safe and supportive environment for service users, promoting their personal development and well-being.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop plans to minimize risk, working closely with Senior Managers and the Contract Monitoring process.
  • Support the recruitment and selection of staff, and assist in the formulation of staffing strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and administrative systems, adhering to CareTech Policy and Procedures, and statutory authorities.
  • Manage the home's petty cash float and ensure the safekeeping of service users' valuables.
  • Ensure good communication networks are maintained within the home, upwards, and sideways, and support the Company's Disciplinary and Grievance processes.
