Job Summary
Thornbury Community Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Male Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the community. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in enabling our clients to achieve their personal goals, learn new skills, and live as independently as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered care and support to our male clients with complex needs, including those with Flaccid Quadriplegia.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and nutrition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to the care team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of UK-based care experience.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to colleagues.
