Job Title: Support Worker - Supported Living

Retain Healthcare is a leading provider of supported living services, dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives. We offer a range of personalized support services, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personalized support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their well-being and safety.
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Supporting individuals in developing and maintaining social relationships and participating in community activities.
  • Promoting independence and self-advocacy skills.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of support provided.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals involved in the individual's care, such as family members, healthcare providers, and social workers.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a supported living setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle essential.
  • PMVA qualification or experience in caregiving or social work are desirable
