We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Support Worker in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
Job OverviewCreative Support Ltd is a passionate and inclusive organization committed to providing personalized support to individuals with disabilities. We strive to empower our service users to live independent and fulfilling lives.
Estimated Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Job DescriptionSupporting Service Users: As a Support Worker, you will work closely with our service users to identify their needs and preferences, providing tailored support to enable them to maintain their independence.
Community Activities: You will accompany service users to various community activities, such as swimming, gym sessions, and walks, promoting a sense of fun and humour while supporting them in new daily living challenges.
Teamwork and Communication: Effective communication skills are essential for this role, as you will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless support for our service users.
Requirements- Resourceful and proactive approach to researching local community resources and events
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
- Full training provided, including the opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care
