Role: Director of Transport Planning

We are seeking a Director of Transport Planning to lead the Development Planning discipline in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing consultancy advice on development projects, from planning and through design engineering and construction support.

The Company: Aldwych Consulting Ltd is a leading development partner, acting as a one stop shop for multidisciplinary consulting advice on development projects. With several UK offices and circa 500 staff, you will be joining a well established consultancy with an excellent industry reputation.

The Role: As a Director of the Development Planning discipline, you will lead the offering of consultancy advice that brings new developments to life, across a range of sectors, varying in size and complexity. You will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of the development planning discipline in Birmingham, undertaking business development, and providing technical understanding of the UK planning environment to prospective clients.

  • In-depth working knowledge of the UK planning environment.
  • Experience in leading and inspiring teams of Transport Planners.
  • A proven record of winning new business in the industry.
