Job Title: Head of Financial Services

Evelyn Partners is seeking an experienced Head of Financial Services to lead our Financial Planning team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering financial planning and wealth management advice to our high net worth private clients.

About the Role:

  • This is a senior leadership role within our Financial Planning department, reporting directly to the Senior Partner.
  • You will have overall responsibility for the delivery of our financial planning services, including managing a team of experienced planners and supporting their professional development.
  • You will work closely with our Investment Management and Professional Services teams to develop client relationships and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Key responsibilities include building new client relationships, maintaining and developing existing ones, and leading client meetings in a professional manner.
  • You will ensure that all advice provided is up-to-date, technically accurate, and meets clients' needs, while understanding and considering the impact of factors such as retirement planning, inheritance, and tax efficiency.

About You:

  • You should hold a level 6 qualification in CII Financial Planning or equivalent, aspiring for Level 7.
  • Previous experience within a Financial Planning/Advisory role to HNW private clients is essential.
  • You should also have experience of people management as a Team Leader/Manager, including managing staff workload, providing mentoring and support, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required, along with relationship management skills.
