A leading contractor is seeking a skilled commercial gas engineer to strengthen their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial gas works, including installations, gas safety inspections, fault finding, and plumbing works across central England, North-West, and Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install and maintain gas-fired heating, hot water appliances, and unvented hot water systems.
  2. Conduct fault diagnostics and general plumbing work, including sanitary installations.
  3. Assist the M+E contract manager with maintenance, refurbishment projects, and pre-construction activities.
  4. Supervise site health & safety, operatives, and supply chain.
  5. Manage quotations, site meetings, progress reports, and project handovers.

Requirements:

  1. Commercial Gas Qualifications: COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, TPCP1a.
  2. Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems Certificate (G3).
  3. Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) Certificate.
  4. Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating.
  5. Pipefitting experience: Screwed, Press fit & soldered pipework.
