We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Agricultural Sales Professional to join our team at Thomas Sherriff & Co Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for representing our dealership in the sale of agricultural machinery to customers in a defined sales area.
Key Responsibilities- Execute all sales process steps to achieve high sales performance in conjunction with our sales tools.
- Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment, services potentially saleable by the dealership, and attend relevant sales training events.
- Monitor competitor activity and products, and communicate to sales management accordingly.
- Conduct field demonstrations and execute goods delivery and follow-up, according to our Customer Care Process.
- Build strong and loyal relationships with defined sales area customers, and monitor trends in their business activities.
- Preferably 1+ years equipment sales experience, although full training would be provided.
- Good knowledge of agricultural equipment and farming operational practices.
- Ability to use standard computer applications, internet functions, and sales tools.
- Familiarity with our products, including John Deere and competitive products.
- Excellent customer relationship skills and ability to work extended hours.
