Triumph Motorcycles: A Legacy of Innovation

At Triumph, we're driven to create exceptional motorcycles that celebrate our heritage while embracing the future. Our pursuit of excellence is guided by bold design, original styling, purposeful engineering, and a genuine passion for the ride.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our Machine Shop team at Triumph Motorcycles, the UK's largest motorcycle manufacturer and a global leading heritage brand. As part of a team responsible for introducing new models into production, you'll focus on Crankshaft production and support day-to-day operations, overcoming any engineering challenges that may arise.

In the development phase, you'll collaborate with designers to introduce new models, providing advice on practicality, cost implications, and cycle time considerations. During volume production, you'll be responsible for prototype builds, defining machining processes, and component flow. Process sheets and stage drawings are essential components of this role, serving as the foundation for quality in production.

Continuous improvement is a key aspect of this position, with a focus on reducing cycle time, enhancing quality, improving tool life, and minimizing energy consumption. You'll procure new machinery and equipment, designing bespoke component fixtures for use online. Managing the procurement cycle for jigs and equipment is crucial, whether through our in-house facilities or external partners.

Safety is paramount, and you'll be responsible for ensuring machinery and processes are safe, conducting risk assessments as required. In the latter stages of implementation, you'll train online staff and liaise with Project Management and quality teams to resolve outstanding issues using a no-fault forward approach. Effective communication is vital, and you'll need to negotiate with stakeholders at all levels of the business.

A competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits, including an enhanced holiday scheme, employee benefits platform, and favourable life assurance scheme, makes this an attractive opportunity. Additionally, you'll have access to discounted motorcycle, clothing, and accessories. Join us for a rewarding career in a dynamic environment.
