Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Apprentice

Are you a skilled engineer looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer - Apprentice to join our team at The Sterling Choice Ltd.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Engineer - Apprentice to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer - Apprentice, you will be responsible for handling plant breakdowns, identifying and addressing root causes of machine breakdowns, conducting Asset Care inspections, implementing improvement projects based on data analysis, and sourcing machinery parts and executing planned maintenance.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Handle plant breakdowns and ensure high-quality fixes.
  2. Identify and address root causes of machine breakdowns.
  3. Conduct Asset Care inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  4. Implement improvement projects based on data analysis to increase efficiency and productivity.
  5. Sourcing machinery parts and executing planned maintenance to minimize downtime.

Your Qualifications:

A time-served mechanical apprenticeship with an electrical multi-skilled conversion is desirable, along with experience with packaging machines in an FMCG environment.

Shift Patterns:

You will be working on a 3-shift rotation which will include:

  1. 1 week of earlies (6am – 2pm)
  2. 1 week of PMs (2pm – 10pm)
  3. 1 week of nights (10pm – 6am Sunday – Thursday)
