Job Title: Chief Financial Strategist

An exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to join Sherborne School. We are seeking an experienced and qualified finance professional for this pivotal role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of financial due diligence, compliance, and reporting
  • Development of strategic plans for investments, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs
  • Regulatory compliance for statutory reporting, HMRC, Charity Commission, and Audit
  • Management of financial services and operations, including payroll, operational reporting, cashflow management, and debtor management

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the management and transactional functions of the Finance team. A comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

About the Role:

Sherborne School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including reference checks with previous employers and a criminal record check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.

What We Offer:
