Chief Financial Officer

At Sherborne School Careers, we are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team. As a key member of the leadership group, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial functions of the school. This includes managing the budget, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing financial strategies that align with the school's goals.
We estimate that this role comes with a salary range of £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
The main responsibilities of this position include:
- Oversight of financial due diligence, compliance, and reporting
- Strategy development: investments, budgets, plans, forecasts, KPIs, financial modeling
- Regulatory Compliance: statutory reporting, HMRC, Charity Commission, Audit
- Financial services and operations: payroll, operational reporting, cashflow management, debtor management
