AI Application Lead

Zurich 56 Company Ltd is seeking a highly skilled AI Application Lead to join our Data Science team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying AI applications that drive business value and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of AI applications that meet business needs and drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop AI solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Act as a thought leader in AI application development, providing guidance and expertise to team members.
  • Develop and deploy AI applications using cloud tools in Azure and AWS, with a focus on infrastructure-as-code.
  • Ensure high ethical standards are maintained when using AI and ML at Zurich.
  • Translate technology to business users, motivating and exciting them to use and apply AI technology.

Requirements:

  • Experience deploying AI applications in a commercial environment, particularly where these applications have driven significant business value.
  • Experience creating user interfaces and business applications to enable non-technical users to interact with AI applications.
  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML technology and development practices.
  • Experience using Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud services and Python to deliver machine learning solutions in a commercial environment.
  • Python proficiency, comfortable handling pull requests for junior and senior team members.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex data issues and to gain the support from internal and external stakeholders.
