We are the RSPCA, a leading animal welfare organization in England and Wales. We're seeking an experienced driver to join our team as an Animal Welfare Transporter.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role: As an Animal Welfare Transporter, you will be responsible for transporting animals to and from vets, private boarding establishments, and hospitals within health and safety guidelines. This may involve lifting animals of various sizes and weight, but appropriate training will be provided if required. You'll also get to meet lots of different people, including members of the public, RSPCA staff and volunteers, and other animal care professionals in your local area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transporting animals safely and efficiently
  • Lifting and handling animals with care
  • Completing administrative tasks, such as mileage returns
  • Undertaking training as directed by the branch team


Requirements:
  • Valid driving license
  • Manual handling training (and animal handling training if required)
  • Aged 18 or over
